Food & Wine Festival Booths Announced

For everyone, like me, that's completely looking forward to attacking the Food & Wine Festival booths during either the Tower of Terror 10-Miler weekend or the Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend, try not to drool on the screen and get your wallet ready! :)

Disney just posted the menus for each of the booths and it looks pretty awesome.  Yes, many of the options are similar to last years but there are a few newbies in the mix.  The beer options are also very similar, with a few newcomers.

You can get all of the information at the official Disney site, or at the Disney Food Blog!

Beer reviews by Patrick and I from the two beer booths from last year's festival were posted at Beers and Ears here and here.

But if you want to take a look, the info is below!  I'll put my commets in red if I have anything to say.  :)  I'll give you forewarning though, I don't like seafood at ALL so I won't be adding my two cents about those dishes.

Also, a quick tip that we do every year....  If you go to the Festival headquarters (held at the old Wonders of Life pavilion), pick up a free festival passport.  You can then go to each booth and get it stamped with a country stamp and check off what you had to eat.  We made a game out of it and made sure to hit each booth at least once!  Free and fun! :) (well...minus the cost of the food)

  2. Don't worry Daniel, I'll hit up the fake meat stand with you! We can leave Jenn and Patrick to their lamb meatballs and rodent sandwiches (pretty sure I saw a picture of Patrick eating something like that in Peru!).

  3. I think I need to add an extra day to my Wine and Dine trip!

  4. @Daniel... I HAVE tried it! Maybe it just was never prepared correctly. At least I'll have you, Danielle, and Ribbs with me to be good judges!

@Danielle... hahaha, I'll come watch. And that rodent sandwich was YUMMY in Peru! :)

@Kellie... Yes, do it! :) I always end up SO full but the food is SO good!

  5. This will be my first Wine and Dine adventure. A bit nervous about running that late but overall super excited after seeing this post.

Do you know if the booths are cash or ticket based?

  6. @BiblioSiren... Definitely relax as much as possible during the day! Last year we had a late breakfast, around 10:30 and then I honestly started making my way back to the hotel to relax. We tried to nap for a few hours but it didn't work. Just laid in bed and watched tv.

The booths accept any form of payment pretty much. :) Cash, credit card, Disney hotel room card, Disney gift card, and Dining Plan snack credits. Snack credits can't be used on alcohol but can be used on all food I believe. Enjoy!

  7. Anyone know how you pay for it i.e. we get a $10 card with our half marathon run kit but definitely will use that up pretty quickly.

    1. You can pay for everything else with either a credit card, cash, charge it to your room, or another Disney gift card.
